Say what?!?! Did you know there is yet ANOTHER helpful way to use your essential oils?!?! Yeah, there are TONS of ways. Here are 3 of the BEST Ways to Use Oils for Your Plants. I mean, oils come from plants…so when you think about it…makes sense right?!!? Let me show you…
Tip #1:
Add a few drops into the water of your vase before you add your cut flowers in. This will help them last longer.
Tip #2:
Spray the roots of your potted plants with Thieves Household Cleaner. They will love it!!!! You can also use it to clean the leaves!!
Tip #3:
A bug off spray is really great for your outside plants!!
Take a 16oz spray bottle and add 10 drops Peppermint, 10 drops Citronella, a splash of white vinegar and top with distilled water. Spray directly on plants and on boxes to keep all the creepy crawlys out!
Can you believe it?! It really is simple and easy to use your oils all throughout your day!! These little tricks keep me from needing to buy EXTRA products or items….for instance, I use Purification to help my cut flowers last longer, but then I also use it in the laundry on stinky clothes and I also drop a little in the bottom of the trash can instead of using those bags with fragrance in them, and then I also drop a little in any of our stinky shoes and I also diffuse it when I cook salmon or broccoli and the kitchen smells….WHEW!!! That’s a lot of ways to use one little bottle of oil…but that’s what’s so great about oils….you can use them for EVERYTHING!!!!!
