As I said in my last blog post…I’m playing catch up from the Hurricane…and I can’t believe I haven’t posted Ashlyn’s session yet.  I put it on facebook and instagram…but I haven’t done a blog post yet.

We had so much fun with Ashlyn!!!  And boy were there a few stories to tell!!! Ashlyn forgot part of her wardrobe for a certain outfit, so her sweet mom headed to the exchange while we got started.  Can I just say that we were sweating it…but it was all so PERFECTLY TIMED!!!!  We did the pink dress  by the trees and the water and then changed into the black outfit and the straw hat….y’all…can we say GORGEOUS!?!?!?!?!  I was dying!!!! The bridge, the lamp posts, the outfit, and the pretty girl  were a recipe for perfection!!!

When we do shoots with multiple outfit changes, we are always racing against time and sunset.  It’s so important to time it all just right.  You want that beautiful soft golden light, but you want to make sure you get everything you’re envisioning before it gets too dark.  It truly is a skill to be able to judge the light and to get the timing just right.

And boy did we get it right this night with Ashlyn!!!!  It truly was a spectacular finish with that sunset and her last look.  We had a nice breeze (I call that breezy hair the Beyonce Hair…you know that perfectly windblown look that’s super glammy), a beautiful sunset and perfect look.

Ashlyn is such a natural beauty!! But she’s beautiful both inside and out and I can’t wait to see what she does next year.  Having her on my team has been so fun and I LOVE shooting with her each and every time!!!  Her laugh and smile are contagious and she truly lights up a room!!
