I had the pleasure of working with Linda St. Amant, owner of a wildly successful and AMAZING Etsy Shop…Sprinkled Designs!!! Linda contacted me a while back about setting up a Small Business Personal Branding session. I was THRILLED because I am so passionate about helping other small businesses grow their social media presence by being the face of their businesses!! Her products are beautiful and she’s done a fantastic job of creating a HUGE business, but she felt like she was missing from her brand. Linda creates fun party supplies with happy colors and she wanted her head shots to match that party vibe.
She brought garlands, balloons, and some of her awesome printables so that we could create a “party” in my studio. We did her head shots, photographed how to use the products she creates, and then we traveled to a beautiful estate on Emerald Isle ( The Watson House) where we did more lifestyle type shots. The content we created in one afternoon will last her all year for her social media branding and marketing. What an awesome return on her investment!!! She has images for instagram, her etsy shop, facebook, and blogging!!!
Research shows that social media followers want to see your face and know your story. They want to know who you are, before they invest in your brand. I know personally, sometimes I don’t stick around very long on the Instagram feeds that only show products…I want to know who the owner is…what’s their story…how can I connect to who they are?
