Hi, friend!  I'm Corry.

Over the years, I’ve helped countless small business owners be more confident in being the face of their brand and to create consistent content by giving them a library of branding images to easily pull from.

One of the things I hear most from creatives is that it’s so hard to be consistent in what they post or what they create when they then have to figure out a way to take their own images…front porch selfies simply aren’t adequate in today’s online spaces. hahahaha

In fact, I started doing head shots for our teenaged daughters when our oldest was in high school and realized she needed a quick head shot for a scholarship application that was due. A front porch selfie had to suffice…but I realized then that going forward, we all needed to have updated images in case something needed to be submitted. It could be something as simple as a speaking engagement, a new job, or a volunteer position on a local board. Whether you are a business owner or not…YOU are your own personal brand.

As a business owner, you are the face and heart of your brand. By showing your face and showing up consistently, you build that know, like and trust factor that guides so many buyers’ choices today. I’ve talked about this before, but different generations buy from different places of motivation. The buyers in their 20’s and 30’s and even 40’s are very connected to the brands they support. They care about who they are and what they believe in. This demographic support causes and businesses with their dollars…and will go out of their way to do business with those they feel like they “know” and trust. To serve your business well, step out from behind your brand and let the world see your smiling face and hear from your heart.

(Here is a GREAT example of a business owner being the face of her brand. Retha owns Hillridge Co, a business coaching company. She is a speaker, a coach and creates products to increase productivity and help with time management. Retha is truly the face of her brand and shows up regularly…but it’s because she has the images on hand and she is a natural on video…head over to instagram to check out her morning chats!!! )

The second reason you need brand photography is because it makes content creation so much easier. Business owners tell me all the time that content creations takes up too much time, so they simply don’t do it. Or that they are exhausted after finding the images and then to think about the written copy…FORGET ABOUT IT!

That’s where your branding images come in handy…they are like the easy button for content. You have a library of images just waiting for you to use them. When I work with clients, I actually help them think through upcoming content so that they have images for exactly what they are wanting to create.

(Retha has an easy button now because she has an entire library of images to use in her feed, on her site, and with what she creates for her clients. As a coach, it’s so important that her current and potential clients see her face and hear her voice to build that trust factor.)

And the third reason that you need brand photography is when you are launching a new offer or product. When we put our new offers out into the world, we want to shout it from the mountain tops…”look what I have that can help you!!!!” While that’s great…you also need images to show people the thing you created or to help them see why they need this new service you are offering could help them. Branding images make that happen so easily and then we you are in launch mode…it’s one less thing you have to even think about…and we all know how CrAzY a launch can be!!!

(Retha has an amazing planner called The Sunday Planner!!! You can find it here. And she’s launching a new color this year. It was so awesome to shoot a few images with the new planner look and to show herself using it. These are so impactful for launch seasons!!)

Do yourself a favor and book a brand photo shoot…your business will thank you and the world with thank you because then they can see how awesome you are and all the magic that you and your brand bring to the table!!!

I’d love to chat with you about how to book a shoot with me for 2023 and beyond…there are multiple ways that we can work together, simply click here to get started!
