Madelyn’s Senior Session in Beaufort was gorgeous! But how did we get here? Isn’t she just starting kindergarten?!?! I’m not sure how she is now a college freshman and learning to do life on her own…without us right there, and without her twin. But she is doing it and we are so dang proud of her!!!!

The Senior Year flies by!!!! And that is why I’m a little (ok a lot behind) on blogging my sessions from last year. I was trying so hard to be present in the lives of our girls that I had to let a few things go for a season…and one of them was keeping up with blogging my sessions. So this fall, you will see this year’s sessions as well as a few from last year sprinkled in.

Beaufort, NC

Maddie wanted to do her shoot in Beaufort and I was so thrilled because it’s one of my most FAVE spots!!!! The history, the old buildings, the quaint streets, the waterfront, the trees…it all reminds me of our time in Beaufort, SC. The light there is always so perfect and the people are so dang kind…so every chance I get, I shoot there!

Maddie picked her fave outfits, did her own hair and had a friend put on her lashes… and I was so dang impressed!!! We had to improvise a little last year…and we may this year as we are living in these crazy pandemic times. But we did what we always do, adapt and overcome. She looked so beautiful for her shoot and her eye for location spots was spot on!!! I may have a budding photographer on my hands and I am here for it!!! I so love Maddie’s eye for beauty, her creative drive, and her ability to see beauty in all things!!!
