Sarah’s Branding session is the PERFECT example of how I structure my sessions for business clients. As business owners who are utilizing social media, blogs, websites, youtube, etc…we need a library or bank of images to pull from that are uniquely ours. While stock images are great and we all use them in a pinch, I feel like nothing is quite as perfect as images of you doing what you do best!! And here’s why…

When we use these amazing images of us in our element serving clients or creating what we offer or even simply our smiling faces, we are building the “know, like and trust” factor with our ideal clients. By giving them an opportunity to see what it actually looks like to work with us, they can visually see themselves as our client. It takes the guess work out of it and creates a visual moment for them. Who wants to hire a random person that doesn’t share their personality or face or even a glimpse into what it would be like to work with them. Can I tell you how many times I’ve clicked off a website or instagram account when I realized it had no personal touch. I want to connect with people I choose to work with.

These images also give you a TON of content!! Ever sit down to post and you think “I have no idea what to talk about today!”? That’s never a problem for my branding clients. We create a gallery of images that are great conversation starters and teachable content for their audience. If you look through Sarah’s branding session, you’ll see that she can talk about her salon, her products that she offers, how she does beautiful, natural extensions for her clients, how she then photographs them for awesome before/afters, then her working in her salon, her being happy in her new space, her move to the mountains, the inspiration she gets from nature…oh my gracious… sooo many things she can post about. We also shot in different outfits that look like they were in different seasons, so she can stretch these into a full year of use!!!

I do this with all of my branding clients…we map out the content they want to share with ideal or potential clients, the outfit choices for each season, the types of shots they want, how they plan to use them, and we also make sure we create images for upcoming launches that allow for graphics or text to be used as an overlay on the image. I so enjoy brainstorming and dreaming up these shoots!!! They are not only a creative outlet for me…but knowing that these images will be used to grow the businesses of the amazing women I work with is priceless!!!

Here’s a great example of images for Sarah to use for the details of what she does in her salon space. She uses natural ingredients to create products for her clients, she teaches about oils in her space, and she does natural row beaded extensions. All of these could use be used as blog post images, on social media posts, or on her website.

And these show exactly what it’s like to sit in her amazing salon space as a client!! She can share tutorials with these images or just market how she serves her clients!!

These beauties show how she works with her clients after their appointment to even give them a few quick new shots of their hair to use on their social media!!! What a wonderful offering and service for each of her clients!!! We have to show people what we can do for them!!!!

I mean….can you even contain yourself…some of my favorites of all time!!

When we shoot with negative space, this is what it looks like. You see how there’s room on each image to add text, a graphic, or some type of overlay. If she’s launching something, has a sale to feature, or just need a quick pic that she can put text on…she now has some to choose from. These are soooo important to business owners today!!
