Hi, friend!  I'm Corry.

Today I’m sharing My Top 5 Budget Friendly Thieves Cleaning DIY Recipes with you.

Being a military family, we have always created our budget off of one household income. I have always worked in some capacity as we’ve moved around the last 25 years…but we always had to be prepared for me to be without work as we relocated to a new duty station. Luckily, I’ve always found (or created) something amazing, but we’ve tried to be smart financially and part of that is living on a budget.

However, several years ago as we began this autoimmune journey I knew we needed to ditch the icky products in our home that could be endocrine and hormone disruptors. Our systems didn’t need any more stress on them. So many “clean” or “natural” products can be expensive, but when I looked at the Thieves line and was educated on how concentrated it actually is and how to make it stretch…I was instantly IN LOVE!!!!

Not only does Thieves smell like Christmas, but the germ fighting and immune supporting power of Thieves oil was enough for me to say YES!!! However, once I realized how budget friendly I could make it…it was a no brainer as I know that I am the gatekeeper of our home and when I knew better…I wanted to do better for our family.

Here are My Top 5 Budget Friendly Thieves Cleaning DIY Recipes:

#1: Thieves Household Cleaner: One glass spray bottle only needs one capful of cleaner so you could get 48 spray bottles from one Household Cleaner. That would mean that you are getting a spray bottle of cleaner for less than $.50 cents per bottle!!!! I am EXTRA…so I do TWO caps in my spray bottles…but still, that’s less than $1.00 per spray bottle!!!!! You won’t find a better cleaner that can clean you counters, wood floors, bathrooms, mirrors, glass doors, car interiors, dog crates, high chairs…and even helps your household plants grow (I spray mine once a week at the base of the plants…they LOVE it)

#2: Thieves Laundry Soap: I can stretch my laundry soap for months on end…one time we went 5 months on just two bottles!!! I cut my Thieves laundry soap in half and add a little Thieves Household Cleaner and some extra oils like citrus fresh or thieves or lemon or orange….and with using 5-6 pumps in my washing machine…I can do months worth of laundry for less than $15 per bottle. A big bottle of the popular “blue” laundry detergent costs way more than that and doesn’t last as long!!!

#3: Thieves Cleaning Wipes: I recently started making my own Thieves wipes for household cleaning. Soooo easy and super cost effective! And I will NEVER run out!! Remember when it was next to impossible to get your hands on cleaning wipes?!!?! Like literally I saw two ladies fighting over them in Walmart one day!! It was insane! But it’s super easy to do and I just cut a roll of paper towels in half and then mix up two caps of Thieves Household Cleaner and water with some extra oils like Thieves, Lemon and Orange and pour it over half the paper towels in a cute reusable wipes container like this one that I got from Target. That makes lots of wipes for PENNIES!!!!!

#4: Thieves Stain Stick: I HATE stains…who’s with me!??!?! All the moms said AMEN!!!! I used to use a great stain remover, but after reading up on it decided I had to ditch it. It was a sad goodbye because it got ALL THE STAINS out…but our health was more important!!! So I set out to find one that was equally as good and non toxic and cost effective. I finally found the right recipe. I use a few tablespoons of Thieves dish soap, a cap of Thieves Household Cleaner and some lemon oil…topped off with a little water. Soooo good and super cheap and easy to use AND it also removes all the stains!!!!

#5: Thieves Soft Scrub: Who loves scrubbing the tub or shower or toilet?!?! NOT ME…but it must be done. In those super grimy areas I found that I needed a little grit to get the job done…so instead of buying a separate cleaner to get the job done…I just mixed up a little baking soda and Thieves cleaner to make a simple paste and it works great. And golly baking soda is super inexpensive!!!!! In the really stubborn areas I’ll use a little Bon Ami instead or in addition to and it also in safe and effective with my Thieves cleaner!

Let me know which of these recipes you try….you’ll find that it’s super easy to use budget friendly and SAFE products once you get yourself a little Thieves Household Cleaner!!!!!

If you don’t have Thieves products yet…here is where to begin!!! You can get a Thieves Starter Bundle to get all the goodies!!
