There are simply no words that can describe how AH-Mazing this personal branding shoot was!!!
I LOVE working with small business owners to help them up level their businesses by doing a professional shoot to create images for ad campaigns, social media outlets, and their websites.
This was an AMAZING shoot for me!! It was in the hills above LA…and for a wonderful business owner who has built a team of other business owners who are all living the dream!!
Kaiy was a client that knew what she wanted, collaborated on ideas with me, was honest with what she wanted and needed, and did a fabulous job with planning the details of the day. She even had a portable potty for her team members. She had dinner catered, made yummy charcuterie boards, packed everything with expert precision, and had her timeline that I gave her down to a T!!!! It was truly a DREAM SHOOT!!!
And I can tell you that it went off without a hitch!!! She was able to capture the essence of her business, bring in her team, and have AH-MAZING images to use on her new website and her social media platforms.
Here are a few tips when planning your own Personal Branding Shoot:
1- Know that everything will take longer than you think…it just is the reality!
2- Plan for everything…but willing to go with the flow!
3- Trust your photographer…but share with them what’s your best side, what you love most about your body, and what you are insecure about. This will help them take those things into consideration when posing you.
4- Remember it’s more than just a head shot!!! Plan for images that show you working, your product, your service, etc.
5- Spend the money…it’s soooooo worth it!!!!! Budget for it…but don’t cheapen out and choose a photographer that doesn’t understand how these images will be used. There are photographers that specialize in this type of photography. These images are an investment in your business!! They have great potential for making you a TON of $$$$!!! They will attract your ideal clients, help you share your story, and tell you why!!!
