Y’all….this session was so fun and so BEAUTIFUL!!!!! I was thrilled to work with Katelyn!!! She is a true sweetheart and so super talented!!

We had a wonderful night on the water in our downtown area. The light was beautiful, the temperature was perfect, and her outfits were gorgeous!!

But I have to share the funniest part of the shoot (ok, the yellow jacket sting didn’t feel funny)…but oh my gosh we laughed later!! So I had Katelyn in the woods and she’s sitting there looking all beautiful…I’m shooting and she says “Oooh there’s a bug in my hair!”

So I go over and try to gently pull it out…and BAM!!!! I get stung and realize it’s a YELLOW JACKET!!!!!! OMG!!!!!!

I’m instantly trying to figure out how in the world I can get that bee out of her hair so that it doesn’t sting her in the face!!!! I mean seriously…a huge swollen face does not make for beautiful Senior Portraits!!!!  Meanwhile my pinkie finger is THROBBING!!!!! AHHH!!!!

Needless to say, mom saved the day and used her cell phone to rake it out of her hair. Praise the Lord!!!!

We quickly finished up at this location and got the heck out of there!!! hahahahahaha I was like “NEXT!!”

But we had a blast…Katelyn didn’t have a swollen face due to a bee sting and I was totally able to shoot with one less pinkie finger!!! hahahahaha

I pray Katelyn enjoys this sneak peek and I can’t wait to deliver her gallery!!! Woohoo!!
