Oh my golly…I’m so excited to be able to blog this sweet, sweet session!! The surprise announcement has been made…so now I can share them. 🙂

When Janell asked me if I could do this for them to announce the exciting news that they were expecting, I was thrilled!!! But I also knew that I had to keep it super quiet!!!

We had so much fun planning it out….and Janell found the perfect balloons, signs, ultrasound pics, and sidewalk chalk idea.

The funniest part is that there was a lot of work that went into getting these images just right. Hahahha….

Let’s see, it was windy that afternoon…so the balloons were super crazy….it took a team of us to get them to cooperate…but little miss was so stinkin’ cute and so patient there holding her #1 balloon!!! We got some hilarious outtakes of mom and dad running out of camera shot!!!! Loved it!!!

Then there was the sidewalk chalk shot….I couldn’t get high enough on my stool to get the entire shot in my frame…so what do three teachers do…we become creative problem solvers. Janell is a cheer coach and I’m a former cheerleader, so her hubby suggests that he can put me on his shoulders to make me taller….I was like…um well…it’s been 23 years since I was in a shoulder sit, but I’m game!! HILARIOUS!!! Janell was our spotter and poor Mark put me up on his shoulders. So wish we had time to get a behind the scenes shots of this crazy fiasco!!! But BAM…I got the shot!!!!!! And poor Mark’s back!!! 🙂
