Oh my golly this session was so much fun!!! We started off downtown with a walking tour and hopping into little spots to get some great shots!! It was there that we ran into Santa…seriously…it doesn’t get any better than that!!!!! 🙂 Then we headed to their family cottage on Emerald Isle to capture his love for the ocean!! Who else but William would have a pod of dolphins show up right offshore as we were shooting?!?!!? We were able to see them play and leap….and we even snapped a pic of a fin or two in his shots!!

William’s styling and wardrobe for his session was spot on! His nautical look and colors were such a PERFECT representation of his LOVE for all things Vineyard Vines!!!!!! He had this one shot that was a must….the back view of him in his whale shirt at sunset….and OMG…WE GOT IT!!!!! Truly, I’m hoping VV will use it for their ad campaign this year. Come on ya’ll petition for it!!! Let’s start a William for Vineyard Vines campaign!!!!!! I’m leading the way!!

Seriously though, I’ve known this young man for several years now….and can I just say that it has been so wonderful watching him grow into an awesome young man. He’s been a great friend to our Grace and we’ve all made great memories together!! Let’s see: there was the time that I told him I was going to make him get out of my car on the way to Pilgrimmage if he didn’t turn down his rap music. We all laughed, ate junk food, and he and Andy endured the long ride with Grace and I…then there was the time he came over to bake cookies and watch the Presidential Debate. They turned a class assignment into a great night!

I can’t wait to see what life has in store for William!! He will do great things and I’m excited to see cheer him on!!
