I LOVE this family!! I met the ladies when we did Megan’s Senior Session….I’m sure you recognize her gorgeous face!!! 🙂 But it was so nice to meet up again for a family portrait session where I got to know all the guys too! Oh my gosh, they are all so darn fun! They chose Ft. Macon….and it was the perfect spot! The natural light was gorgeous and the brick was so beautiful! You just can’t beat that texture…or history…or the fact that they have cannons there!!! 🙂 Working with families with older children is fun because the kids have great ideas of their own. The image of the kids pushing on the wall was such a funny idea that just popped up when one of them said it feels like we’re holding up this wall. So the boys turned and started pushing on it…I jumped up in a window to change my perspective and the girls joined in the craziness! It turned out to be an image that think captured their fun natures and the fact that they got into what we were doing and let their silliness shine! As a mom, those are always the images I love most. The ones that are candid and let their spirits shine!!

And now can we just talk about how gorgeous the kids’ headshots turned out?!?!! I mentioned as a last minute thought before we wrapped up….the older kids were like…nah…we’re good. But then the little guy jumped right on in…and omg then everyone decided that they wanted pics too!!! Sooooo glad we did them! Truly gorgeous…both inside and out! Their hearts are as sweet as their smiles!!
