I’ve watched this young man grow from a 7th grade kiddo to the handsome 17 year old he is today. He is a wonderful guy with a great heart! Our families are dear friends and I look forward to watching him go out and make his way in the world! God has big plans for you Jared!
So I first have to say that we started at 0 dark 30…no really….it was early! But let me tell you that the “early bird gets the worm”…or the “early bird get the AWESOME morning light”!!!! Jared was a trooper and didn’t complain a bit! He even thought it was funny when our super secret location meant we had to be extra quiet because the campers were still sleeping. Shhhhh!!!! Hahahaha….but I found the perfect spot that made me think of a special place his mom Kim described in Robeson County. I saw it and instantly knew that was the spot for one of Jared’s set of portraits. And boy was I right!!!! GORGEOUS!!!!!
We then headed into town where we shot at a few of my fave spots. That brick….ahhhhh….makes my heart smile. And he was so brave getting up in that “rustic” window. I was a little worried, but he was like “I got this Miss Corry!”
And then we headed to the high school for football! I’ve been watching Jared play football since 8th grade, so seeing him all suited up made me a little sad knowing that this was his Senior year. But can I just say that getting into the stadium was a little tricky. I guess all I’ll say is that there was a towel, some track boys, and two “old” mamas who know how to low crawl….praise God we are married to military men!!!! We are two tough old birds and I will literally do just about anything to make sure my Seniors get amazing portraits!!! Kim…I’m so proud of us!!!! 🙂
Well, once on the field he ran, he threw, he caught….and I snapped, layed on the wet grass, and ooohed and ahhhhed over all the images we were getting!! In fact, I think I saw his daddy choke up just a little when I showed him the back of my camera….the shots were great!
And of course, we had to go over to the baseball field to just shoot a few. Baseball has been a huge part of the Hunt family….and it was only fitting that we end with baseball pics. I even caught a quick shot of dad cleaning off the mound for Jared. Ahhhh….be still my heart!!!
Enjoy these sweet Hunt family !!!
Blessings,
Miss Corry
