This sweet family is so close to my heart! We met them while we were all living in Paradise. We attended many military functions and gatherings with them. We babysat for each other. We celebrated holidays and birthdays. We LOVED making memories in Hawaii together!! In fact, as we drove into the city to meet the Masons, I asked the twins if they remembered Miss Ashlee and Mr. Kevin. They immediately said, “Yes!! She was the one that made paperdolls with us when we stayed with her one time!!” You just never know what special memories children will place in their hearts. 🙂

As we drove up and everyone hopped out for hugs and greetings, it was so fun to see these sweet faces again! It was like time stood still and we were right back in Hawaii. That’s just how it works with old friends….time passes, but the good times and memories are like place holders. They keep the bonds strong. And it was such a treat to get to meet Miss Reagan!! This little spit fire was just a twinkle in their eyes years ago… it was so nice to get to know her. Actually, I could have packed them both up with me and brought them home!!! They were such a delight!!

The shooting was a blast, the location was beautiful, but more importantly, the catching up was such a blessing! To spend time with the Masons was such a treat! I cannot wait to get back up there for a visit with them….or for them to get orders to NC!! Now that would be perfect!!!
