Oh my gracious…can you say a whole lot of cuteness?!?!?!! This sweet family was so much fun! First of all the twins had me at hello! As a fellow twin mom…I get it! The fun, the chaos, the bond of twins….it’s soooo much fun…and then to have such gorgeous red hair and cute as a button grins…oh my golly I knew we were in for a load of laughs! These girls can cartwheel like nobody’s business! Baby Jake was so happy and chill!! He smiled, clapped, looked too cute for words…and was so stinkin’ sweet! He just went with the flow and was happy wherever we put him. Then there was my fave three year old…he had a serious grip on mom’s hand and could not be talked out of letting go. Except for one split second when I grabbed their attention to peek into a tree…and then we were able to sit quickly and snap a few pics of the four of them….perfect!!! He didn’t even realize he had let go of mom’s hand. You know…my philosophy is that when a little one is going through a certain stage, whether it’s an attachment to a certain lovie or sucking their thumb or holding onto mom….instead of trying to talk them out of it during your photo shoot…embrace it, capture it, and treasure it. They are only going to be this age once. They will quickly grow and change. You’ll laugh when you look back at your portraits years from now and remember when he loved you so much he just couldn’t let you go. Take it from me…when they drive out of the driveway all on their own…you will forever wish they were holding on tightly and not wanting to let go. Whew!! Ok…enough of my mommy moment! Ahhhh!!! My eyes are leaking just a little!
The love you could feel from this precious family was immense! So glad we were able to get Mom-Mom and Grandpa in a few pics as well!! And those pink heels…oh my golly!! They deserve a photo shoot of their own! I LOVE it when clients really show their personalities in their session by choosing wardrobe, locations, or styling that really speak to their favorite things!! And let me tell you…she totally rocked the pink heels…You go Shannon! Enjoy these sneaks!
