This was such an awesome session!!!! I love this sweet lady and her family!! Jill was my daughter Grace’s 7th grade math teacher. We had just moved here from Hawaii and Jill took Grace under her wing and loved on her a lot! She made math fun and was wonderful with the kids. During that year, we found out that Jill had cancer….we were all devastated…especially the kiddos! I met Bud and their sweet babies when I took dinner to their house during Jill’s treatment…you could feel the love and strength in their little family!!! Jill is such a fighter and has won the battle!!!! She wanted to do her session at home….a place where they spend so much time with each other making great memories!! They have a wonderful backyard!! It was a great way to capture a “Day in the Life” session!!!! We tromped around in the backyard (and mud…which I absolutely LOVE)….searching for great spots to shoot in. It was a BLAST!!! The kids always love it when we incorporate their ideas in our session….and these two peanuts had a blast choosing their spots. Dad even got into it and helped us find some great places in the field…lighting was perfect and they rocked it!!! Little did they know that I would educate them on posing, using natural light, how to convey emotion through “a look”…and how to just be themselves….this is what happens when you have a teacher as your photographer!!! You’ll always leave my sessions a little more educated about photography….and we’ll have sooooo much fun along the way!!!! Much love to this amazing family!!
Blessings,
Corry
