Easy Thieves Laundry Soap Recipe:
1 bottle Thieves Laundry Soap divided into two glass pump bottles
3 caps of Thieves Household Cleaner
15-20 (or more…hahhaha) drop of your fave oil like citrus fresh, lemon, orange, etc
Fill the rest of the way with water
Shake em up!
Use 5-6 pumps per load of laundry or more if it’s a heavily soiled load.
Why we ditched and switched…
When we found out we were dealing with autoimmune and health related issues, I began doing the research on what we could do to make a difference in regards to what we were bringing into our home and what we were eating. Are we perfect…no…but when you know better, you do better. I learned that some of the MOST toxic chemicals in our homes are actually found in our laundry detergent. Those chemicals make our laundry smell good, but that’s because they bond to our clothing and then they sit against our skin all day, every day. And we all know that our skin is permeable….and absorbs the things that are on it. So we ditched the things that we could that we knew were endocrine and hormone disruptors. And we haven’t looked back!
This switch has also been GREAT for our budget!!! One bottle is $29 (with my wholesale pricing) and I can make that last us months!!!!!! You pay for the icky detergents and they don’t last as long. Thieves Laundry Soap is 6x concentrated and I just go ahead and make up these diluted bottles so we don’t over pour!!! 🙂
It’s super easy, non toxic, plant based, no SLS, no dyes, no fragrance, no phosphates, no formaldehyde, and no petrochemicals!!!!! And it makes my wallet smile!!!
