Hi, friend! I'm Corry.
This was a quick branding photography headshot session to help Karla update her own headshots, but to also add in her new Team Member Tara to her online presence.
Karla owns Kelomi Real Estate and I’ve worked with her in the past for a huge branding session (you can see our big shoot here) and she was our family’s realtor when we built our NC house while living in Hawaii. So it was thrilling to get the call that she needed a few more pics!
As a business, whether you have a storefront or not…you NEED images of YOU!!!! People are not loyal to brands or stores or logos or fonts or colors…they are loyal to relationships….they are loyal to YOU!!!! So they need to see YOU in your business!!!! Get in front of the camera and watch your business thrive and grow in new ways!!!!!
Three Tips for Planning Your Own Branding Shoot:
Work with someone that understands how branding photography works.
Here are three tips when planning your own branding shoot:
Plan ahead….don’t plan a shoot right after you have dental surgery or if you’ve just cut your hair and hate it. Think about a time or season when you look and feel your best.
Take a few outfits that are from different seasons. If you shoot in sleeveless tops because it’s July….those images will look weird showing up in December. So take a long sleeve top and a short sleeve top. Maybe pack a skirt and a pair of jeans. Also think professional…but then a Girls’ Night Out look….versatile style in your wardrobe is important!
Plan for all the things. Look at the fact that you’ll need these for instagram, facebook….but also your facebook cover photo maybe, any speaking engagements that you may be asked to do, any print ads you choose to do, business cards if you still do those…think outside of the box for ways that you can use your images and ask for those images to be done!
