I cannot begin to tell you how much this session meant to me!!
Kaylee and I have been friends for many years. We were partners in crime in Kindergarten and I was the first person she met when she moved to NC to be with Patrick. We survived deployments together, we cried in the Kindergarten bathroom together after a rough day with 29 five year olds, we packed up our classrooms together, we traveled together, I photographed her surprise engagement to Patrick, I watched her walk down the aisle to Patrick, and then I watched her struggle with infertility. It was heartbreaking…but she was determined and we all prayed for this miracle baby.
When I got the call that she was expecting it was so JOYOUS!!!! Then when we found out it was going to be a girl it was so JOYOUS!!!!
She asked me to come up to the baby shower in VA, where they are now living, and to also do some maternity portraits!!! I jumped at the chance because I’ve literally been a part of some of the most important life events she’s had and I was so honored!!!
We had so much fun at her shoot!!! My twins tagged along, her mom was there and so was Patrick’s!!! It was a blast and even though it started out as an icky morning…we got some great photos!!!
We have all prayed for sweet baby James Kate and I cannot wait to meet her!!!!!!! And the BEST news of all….Kaylee is being induced today….prayers for them all…such a sweet blessing!!!!!
