Hi, friend!  I'm Corry.

This was such a fun Small Business Branding Shoot!!!  I absolutely LOVE Julia!!!  She is an amazing Military Spouse, Mom, and now a Small Business Owner.  Julia just launched The Simplified House, where she’ll be offering her expert services in interior design, home organization, and the art of repurposing.  The Simplified House provides full service design, organizational and staging services. From developing new room layouts, curating existing furniture, to organizing and decluttering any space in your home, she can help turn your house into a place you love to be.

When we met to plan her Branding Shoot, she knew she would need images for her new website, her social media feeds, and her blog.  I was able to walk through her home and point out “moments” (a term coined by my dear friend Charlotte) that would give her perfect images for very specific content that she may want to share with her clients and readers.

We also made sure we captured a variety of headshots and images of her styling her home so that clients could see her at work doing what she does best.  It gives her a way to tie in great lessons and content that she feels is share-worthy!

If you are a small business owner…please consider setting up a consultation so that we can chat about how I can help you take your business to the next level with perfectly styled professional  images for your specific brand.  If you aren’t a local business, I’m willing to travel to you…that would be part of the fun!!! 🙂

Julia found a creative and stylish way to display her toddler’s artwork…she made frames that can  hold all his new pieces. Genius!

Julia shows ways to incorporate a play area into the Family Room…and how to create a kid-safe flooring option with matching hard wood colored foam squares.  She also shows ways to strategically “hide” the extras for our little ones.

Talk about stroke of GENIUS!!! Look at this fun shelving for Mason’s cars and books. Perfect for play time!

Right at his height….kid tested, mother approved! 🙂

A few more playtime images…Julia has tons of great images for mom-specific posts about how to contain toys and how to decorate while in this toddler season of life.

Julia styled her dining table with gorgeous pieces!

These colors….Ahhhh!!!

Julia has a lot to teach us about how to style the perfect table…I learned so much while watching her!!

The details were so gorgeous!

Perfect head shots for her brand!  And thanks to Ginny Gordon‘s for featured plates, napkins, and macrame art piece.  Salt Marsh Cottage‘s whale butter dish and fish platter were so perfect for our brunch theme.

Entryway beauty…flight jacket and baby sweater…ahhhh, swoon!

A small nook that gives her a “moment” to blog about…

Another beautifully styled “moment” with pieces from Swansboro’s own “Salt Marsh Cottage“!! Gorgeous!
