How fun was this session?!?!!? Oh my golly….a barrel of laughs!!!! I have known Amy since we were kiddos!! We went to school and church together in our small town and our family ties go back generations. Gotta love small towns!! We’ve kept in touch over the years, occassionally seeing each other when we’d have family get togethers. Facebook is truly our saving grace since we’ve all moved away from our small town now. It’s so great watching each other getting married, having babies, and raising our kiddos!! So when Amy contacted me back in the winter for a family portrait session I was THRILLED!!! She and Brian live near Charlotte and I was going to be home for a long weekend so we made plans to meet up at a local park….but wouldn’t you know it….our mild winter decided to turn into a full-blown winter while I was home. Ugh!!! Being the problem solvers that we are, Amy decided they’d book a long weekend on Emerald Isle and come to me!!! I’m soooo glad she decided to do that because we had a beautiful late April weekend with gorgeous weather. Not only were we able to do our shoot, but we were able to meet up for lunch the next day and we got to take them to get treats at our local candy shop!! Totally glad the winter weather changed our January park session into an April beach session….and I was able to reconnect with this sweet family and capture their love for one another!!!!
Blessings,
Corry
