I met this wonderful couple on one of our local beaches….as I was watching the radar for bad weather. They were calling for rain and possible storms, but the radar showed that it would be going around us. Well….the radar lied!!! It came right at us…but not until we were finishing our awesome session! Whew!! It was a close one as we ran back to the cars praying the lightning wouldn’t get us. These two were such great sports and we laughed our way through their session…such fun! They also had a great friend that hung out on the beach as the official “dog holder”…it’s a tough job, but somebody’s gotta enjoy sitting on a beach at sunset. Darn! 🙂
I have so enjoyed getting to know Katelyn this past year. We were colleagues that spent every afternoon together on the playground. You learn so much about a person by having recess duty with them. I learned that she has a heart of gold, is madly in love with her sweet hubby, is an amazing teacher that has the patience of Job…and works exceptionally well with children that have special needs. It was an honor and a privilege to create these lasting memories of their time here in NC with them. Enjoy!
