This session was double the usual blessings. This precious young family bid on my session at a fundraiser for a sweet lady in our community who was diagnosed with cancer. I donated it to help in a small way…and prayed that a wonderful family would receive it. Prayers were answered when Catherine called and let me know that they were the winning bid. This beautiful family was so full of love, energy, and happiness. Little miss’s smile and LOVE of the ocean was contagious…in fact her love of the ocean matched mine!!! The image of her standing at the edge of the water with her arms wide open is exactly how I feel every time I see the ocean…I am at peace! I giggled (oh okay, I belly laughed) my way through this session. This little girl reminded me so much of our Grace at this age. She’s two…going on 16. She has the tiniest voice and you just don’t expect to be able to carry on a grown up conversation with her. But there she is…her big, old soul in this tiny body…expressing exactly what she’s thinking…at all times!!!! Made me a little teary to remember how fast it all passes by. Enjoy them Catherine and Ben…they’ll be driving soon (sorry, but it’s true). And that little guy….oh my goodness….is he too precious or what?!?!!? Couldn’t you squeeze him? He was so juicy and then that big grin with those bottom teeth shining….STOP IT!! Too much cuteness! It truly was a privilege and a blessing to meet this sweet family and capture this wonderful time in their lives with these precious babies!! Hope to see you soon Parkers!!
